The Embassy of Uzbekistan in China hosted a meeting with the leadership of the China Pharmaceutical Innovation and Research Development Association.

The parties exchanged views on the current situation of cooperation between Uzbekistan and China in pharmaceuticals and medicine, discussed the prospects for implementing new joint projects, conducting joint scientific research, training highly qualified personnel, introducing modern management methods and creating industrial production in Uzbekistan.

It was noted that thanks to the regular dialogue between the leaders of Uzbekistan and China, cooperation between the two countries in all spheres, including in medicine and pharmaceuticals, continues to reach new heights.

The activity of specialized pharmaceutical free economic zones in Jizzakh, Namangan, Syrdarya, Surkhandarya, Andijan and Tashkent regions aroused the particular interest of the Chinese Association.

Following the talks, the Chinese side confirmed its readiness to submit its proposals for further cooperation between the two countries, the implementation of new joint projects in pharmaceuticals and medicine.
