The Embassy of Uzbekistan in China hosted a meeting with the President of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronics Products Zhang Yujing.

The parties exchanged views on the issue of enhancing industrial cooperation between Uzbekistan and China, as well as regions to actively attract Chinese investment in the economy of Uzbekistan.

During the talks, the issue of attracting large companies and research institutes of China in agriculture and studying the issue of the effective use of saline lands for further implementation of joint projects in the Aral Sea region was also discussed.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the joint development of a roadmap to deepen cooperation in industry, investment and interregional relations.
