Uzbekistan – China Agricultural Educational Forum, which is taking place these days at the Embassy of Uzbekistan in China, is attended by the Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov, President of the Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, Professor Wu Pute and Rector of Xinjiang University Xiao Fu, as well as heads of several agricultural universities.

Tashkent State Agrarian University, Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University, and Xinjiang University are implementing several joint projects.

In particular, the recent arrival of 20 teachers and students from Xinjiang University to Tashkent State Agrarian University for internship is another manifestation of the long-term mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and China.

The main thing is that cooperation with several higher education universities is being strengthened at this forum, and opinions are being exchanged on the mutual transfer of modern technologies.

Ibrokhim Abdurakhmonov noted that thanks to the development of science, a new perspective and relations in agriculture are being formed. At the same time, he stressed that the visit of the President of Uzbekistan to the People’s Republic of China plays a vital role in ensuring the consistency of large-scale reforms.

Such meetings provide comprehensive support for the education of young people and the implementation of their innovative ideas.
