Tashkent hosted a roundtable discussion on “Uzbek-Chinese Dialogue: A Model of Cooperation and Joint Development”, organized by the Center for Foreign Policy Studies and International Initiatives (CFPSII).
Representatives of leading analytical centers and research structures of Uzbekistan’s ministries and departments, a delegation of advisers from the Expert Advisory Bureau of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, and diplomats from the Chinese Embassy in Tashkent attended the event.
During the dialogue, participants discussed the current state and prospects for expanding scientific, expert, and research ties between the two countries’ think tanks.
Representatives of analytical structures emphasized the importance of expanding expert dialogue to strengthen the strategic partnership’s practical content.
The participants agreed to maintain close collaboration, including by holding joint events, organizing visits and internships, and publishing research findings in specialized publications.
