According to the Law “On the establishment of Medical Workers Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, adopted on September 12, 2006, the second Sunday of November is annually celebrated in the country as the Medical Workers Day.

Turkiston Palace of Arts in Tashkent hosts a solemn event on the occasion of Medical Workers Day.

It is attended by members of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, deputies of the Legislative Chamber, representatives of ministries, agencies, public and international organizations, doctors, nurses, professors-teachers, students, culture and art workers.

At the event, the Chairperson of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Tanzila Narbayeva read out a festive greeting of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev to health workers.

A group of dedicated workers in the sphere is awarded high awards of the country in accordance with the Presidential Decree.
