January 26 – International Customs Day.

This day also marks the 30th anniversary of Uzbekistan’s national customs system.

The role of custom officials and agencies in protecting the economic interests of the country, in particular, in ensuring the transparency of public services foreign economic activity, the balance of export-import operations, the accelerated development of an entrepreneurial activity, and the increase in investment and export potential, is invaluable.
