Tashkent hosted a spiritual-enlightenment event dedicated to the 537th anniversary of the great scientist, poet and statesman Zahiriddin Muhammad Babur’s birth.

Deputy Director of the Republican Children's Library R. Amiriddinov noted that Homeland in Babur's work is described as a place of birth, upbringing of a person, a wonderful world where a person is shrouded in care and love of parents and relatives. Homesickness is described for him as longing for his native land, nature, climate, mountains, friends and relatives.

At the event, students presented performances related to the life and work of Babur, a concert consisting of excerpts of the poet's works and classical songs.
