On January 28, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan hosted a meeting between CCI Chairman Adham Ikramov and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh to Uzbekistan, Zahangir Alam.

The parties noted the need for developing cooperation and exchange of experience in the textile and pharmaceutical industries, information technology, and agriculture.

Adham Ikramov informed about the export potential of Uzbekistan in the agricultural, textile, leather and electrical industries.

In turn, Ambassador Zahangir Alam noted that it is necessary to maintain collaboration between the chambers of commerce and industry of the two countries, which are the main platform for business interaction to strengthen business cooperation and develop economic relations.

Following the meeting, the parties exchanged views on the planned joint events and the need for intensifying mutual visits of businesspeople of the two countries.
