As part of the visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to France and France – Uzbekistan Business Forum in Paris, organized by the State Investment Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan together with MEDEF International, several agreements on bilateral cooperation were signed.

According to the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, 32 percent of all small and medium-sized French companies are exporters, the national agency Business France, which was created in 2015 based on the merger of several state agencies, plays a significant role in organizing their exports.

Every year, with the assistance of Business France, 40-50 thousand new French small companies begin to export their products. In this regard, within the framework of the Business Forum between the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Business France agency, a memorandum was signed providing for the organization of joint work on training representatives of Uzbekistan small companies by French specialists in the process of entering export markets.

As part of the Business Forum, an agreement was signed with the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), headquartered in Paris. The International Chamber of Commerce unites 45 million enterprises in 100 countries. The signed agreement provides for the entry of Uzbekistan CCI into the International Chamber of Commerce and the opening of the national committee of the International Chamber of Commerce in Uzbekistan CCI.

The signing of these agreements will create favorable conditions for the development of mutually beneficial investment and economic ties.
