Uzbekistan CCI and the Polish Chamber of Commerce to establish a Business Council

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Amirsaid Agzamkhodjayev met with the President of the Polish Chamber of Commerce, Vice-President of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry Marek Kloczko.

During the talks, issues of further developing bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation were considered, including preparations for the business forum within the framework of the 8th meeting of the Uzbekistan – Poland Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation to be held in Tashkent in April 2024.

During the 8th meeting of the commission, it was decided to sign an agreement on establishing the Uzbekistan – Poland Business Council. It was noted that today, Poland has similar structures with eight countries, and creating a Business Council with Uzbekistan will be the first in the Central Asian region.

The Polish side also expressed gratitude for the active participation of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in study visits to Polish voivodeships organized by the Polish Chamber of Commerce for advisers on trade and economic issues of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Warsaw.
