The Embassy of Uzbekistan in Pakistan hosted a meeting with a delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) led by the Senior Vice President, Hamza Sarosh.

At the meeting, the RCCI Senior Vice President highly appreciated the initiative of the President of Uzbekistan on the regional connectivity of Central and South Asia and confirmed his readiness to contribute to the development of bilateral economic and trade relations.

The parties discussed promising areas for further increasing mutual trade and investment. In particular, an agreement was reached on the creation of a Cooperation Group with Uzbekistan (Pakistan – Uzbekistan Cooperation Desk) and an online group for the prompt exchange of information on investment and commercial proposals within the RCCI structure.
