First Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azim Akhmedkhodjayev held talks with the Ambassador of Canada to Uzbekistan, Alison LeClaire.

The Ambassador of Canada noted the importance of the results achieved in the field of energy in Uzbekistan and proposed to consider in detail several promising areas of cooperation, including collaboration with leading technical universities in Canada and the exchange of experience, joint projects in the field of hydrogen energy and environmental safety.

The parties agreed to organize webinars to discuss possible cooperation in training personnel.
