16:54 / 2025-02-23

The Oman News Agency (ONA) reported that a group of businesswomen from Uzbekistan will visit the Sultanate of Oman to establish relations with its businesswomen.

The delegation, led by the Deputy Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan, Nodira Shotursunova, consists of about twenty women entrepreneurs – representatives from both the public and private sectors, working in real estate, design, electrical engineering, textiles, private education, medicine, and export-import.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Uzbekistan to Oman, Abdusalom Khotamov, noted that this mission is being carried out to develop ties in various fields, particularly in the economy and culture, and stated that the visit plan has already been prepared. He also mentioned that the program includes a fashion show organized by representatives of the textile industry and designers and masterclasses in Muscat conducted by Uzbekistan embroiderers.

Additionally, economic and investment cooperation issues will be discussed at a business forum involving businesswomen from Uzbekistan and Oman.
