Uzbekistan – Belarus: prospects for security cooperation
During the visit of the delegation led by the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus Stanislav Zas on June 4, regular bilateral consultations were held between the Office of the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus.

The event was attended by representatives of security agencies, military-industrial complex and analytical institutions.
During the consultations, issues of practical implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation between the Security Council under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the State Secretariat of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus of 2017, as well as the roadmap on cooperation between the two countries in security for 2019-2020 were considered.
Following the bilateral consultations, a protocol was signed providing for specific measures on further deepening and expanding cooperation in security.
Within the framework of the visit of Belarusian delegation to Uzbekistan, a number of meetings at the military institutions will be organized.
