On February 1, 2025, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan approved the procedure for certifying products and services in accordance with halal requirements. On this basis, the UzHalalTest certification body was established under UzTest.

The first Halal certificates were awarded to the joint venture LLC Peng Sheng Charm and LLC BIO-SUT.

This marked an essential step for Uzbekistan manufacturers toward expanding exports and increasing consumer trust.
