International scientific-practical briefing has been held on “Bashkirs beyond their historical homeland: Support mechanisms and potential for cooperation”.

World Bashkir Congress Executive Committee, Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Bashkir Public-Cultural Center named after Zaki Validi held an international scientific-practical briefing on “Bashkirs beyond their historical homeland: Support mechanisms and potential for cooperation”.

The event was held with the support of the Administration of the President of the Republic of Bashkortostan and Representative Office of the Federal Agency for CIS Affairs, compatriots living abroad and international humanitarian cooperation of Rossotrudnichestvo in Uzbekistan.

The event was attended by Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Interethnic Relations and Friendly Ties with Foreign Countries under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Azamat Toshev, employees of ministries and agencies, scientists from Bashkortostan and Uzbekistan.

It was noted that the meeting will contribute to consolidation of society around humanistic, spiritual and moral values, and will serve to strengthen friendship between people.
