Uzbekistan, Bangladesh to create a working group for practical implementation of cooperation agreements
Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan Sardor Umurzakov has met with the Adviser to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Salman Fazlur Rahman.
According to Uzbekistan MIFT, the parties discussed the current agenda of cooperation in investment, trade, economic, industrial, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The Bangladeshi side noted the interest in increasing mutual tourist flows, including through the development of ziyorat tourism. The prospects for enhancing interaction in education were also considered. An agreement was reached on establishing cooperation between the “Silk Road” International University of Tourism (Samarkand) and the Jahangirnagar University (Dhaka).
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached on the creation of a joint working group to promote and implement the discussed areas of cooperation.
