Navoi region’s Acting Hokim Normat Tursunov met with a delegation from Bangladesh led by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of this country to Uzbekistan Md. Zahangir Alam.

The parties discussed cooperation between entrepreneurs of the two countries.

Guests became familiar with the economic and investment potential of the region, infrastructure and visited the Intermodal Logistics Center. Normat Tursunov noted that all opportunities for trade-economic and cultural cooperation with countries of the far and near abroad are created in the region.

The Ambassador asked about the possibility of establishing joint ventures in the direction of the fruit and vegetable, textile, pharmaceutical industries and expressed readiness for cooperation.
