Ambassador of Uzbekistan Bakhrom Ashrafkhanov has met with the First Deputy Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Caspian Energy Club Telman Aliyev.

Caspian Energy Club was established in June 2002. It is the largest regional organization, uniting more than 5000 companies and organizations from 50 countries, carrying out their activities in the states of the Caspian-Black Sea and Baltic regions.

Issues related to the practical implementation of previously reached agreements to promote mutually beneficial relations between Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan in trade, economic and investment exchange were discussed at the meeting.

Telman Aliyev confirmed the readiness of the Caspian Energy Club to make its contribution to the development of Azerbaijan – Uzbekistan trade, economic and investment cooperation.

An agreement was reached on the joint organization and conduction of events, including the presentation of the economic, privatization and investment potential of Uzbekistan, the organization of online tours to enterprises of Uzbekistan specializing in the production of various types of products, including textiles, dried fruits and electrical equipment, a business forum with participation of businesspeople of the two countries.
