The head of Namangan region, member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Abdurazzakov met with the Senior Researcher of the Surgery Department of the Scientific Center for Surgery of Azerbaijan, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor Gurbankhan Muslimov.

The visit of doctor Gurbankhan Muslimov, who studied advanced methods of medicine in European countries, is carried out within the framework of a bilateral agreement signed in Baku with a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, head of the Medical Diagnostic Center in Namangan, Nosirbek Abdullakhanov. The guest participated in the scientific conference “High-tech and minimally invasive surgery” and masterclasses, conducted a surgical operation.

“We conducted a minimally invasive surgical operation in Namangan to raise our cooperation to a new quality level”, says Professor Gurbankhan Muslimov. – This is the first time such a complex operation has been carried out in your country. Proposals were put forward for the effective use of Azerbaijan’s experience in Namangan region, the creation of a medical training center, a multidisciplinary center.

The Azerbaijani scientist got acquainted with the activities of the medical diagnostic center ANAMED. The parties agreed to implement new projects in the development of the private sector of medicine, strengthening the health of the population.
