Head of the Azerbaijan Journalists Network PU Ayaz Mirzayev, Head of the Public Relations Department at the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elnur Niftaliyev, who arrived in Uzbekistan, met with Acting Chairman of the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan Kholmurod Salimov and other officials.

The work carried out within the framework of implementing the agreements reached at the meetings of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, consistent development of friendly relations between the peoples of the two countries, and commonality of traditions, spiritual values, and cultures were recognized during the dialogue. Views were also exchanged on such issues as the development of cooperation between the media of the two countries, ensuring mutual exchange of experience between representatives of the sphere.

The head of the Azerbaijan Journalists Network PU, Ayaz Mirzayev, focused on further strengthening ties between the mass media of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan, prospects for cooperation between journalists of the two countries, and effective exchange of experience.

At the meeting, which took place in a sincere and friendly atmosphere, an agreement was reached on the preparation, improvement, and signing of a cooperation agreement between the Union of Journalists of Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan Journalists Network PU.
