Uzbekistan chess players defeated teams of Russia, China, India, Iran, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Moldova at the World Chess Olympiad.
Uzbekistan chess players defeated teams of Russia, China, India, Iran, Ukraine, Hungary, Poland and Moldova at the World Chess Olympiad among juniors that was held in Turkey with participation of 46 teams from 39 countries of the world.
Nodirbek Yakubboyev, Shamsiddin Vokhidov, Nodirbek Abdusattorov, Javokhir Sindorov, Sitora Saparova defended the honor of Uzbekistan.
Nodirbek Yakubboyev scored 8 points out of a possible 9, Shamsiddin Vokhidov scored 7.5 points out of a possible 8. Both of them won gold medals of this tournament.
Uzbekistan Chess Federation hosted the awarding ceremony of chess players. The winners of the Olympiad were presented gifts and cash rewards.
