This year, athletes of Uzbekistan took part in 517 championships of Uzbekistan, 237 international competitions, 34 continental championships, 7 continental cups, 26 world championships and 6 World Cup competitions.

According to the Ministry of Sports Development, as of December 13, the total number of medals won by Uzbekistan athletes in these competitions amounted to 47,093 gold, silver and bronze medals.

These days, the country’s athletes continue to participate in world and continental championships, national championships and international tournaments in several sports.
