As previously reported, the United Arab Emirates hosts Fazza International Para Athletics Championships.

According to the National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan, on the second day of the competition, members of Uzbekistan Paralympic Athletics Team won two medals.

Izzat Turgunov won the gold medal in the long jump with a result of 5.56 meters in the T36 class, and Nurkhon Kurbonova, who took part in the shot put competition in the F54 class, achieved a result of 7.12 meters and was also awarded a gold medal.

On the first day of the competition, members of Uzbekistan national team won two gold, two silver and two bronze medals.
