Tehran hosts President’s Cup Asian Regional Para-Taekwondo Championship.

Ziyoda Isakova and Guljanoy Naimova won gold medals. Guljanoy Naimova was recognized as the best athlete of the tournament, and the coach of Uzbekistan’s national team Bobur Kuziyev was recognized as the best coach of the tournament. The country’s women’s team took first place in the team event and was awarded a special Cup.

In the men’s championship, Uzbekistan’s Zukhriddin Tokhirov and Asadbek Toshtemirov won silver medals, and Sanjar Mukhtarov, Kudrat Khaydarov and Asilbek Khusanov won bronze medals. The country’s men’s team took third place.
