At the fencing competitions in Peru, representatives of the Uzbekistan national team won in singles and team programs.

According to the National Olympic Committee, Musa Aymuratov defeated all his rivals with a significant advantage in the singles program and climbed to the highest step of the podium. Islombek Abdazov and Azizbek Dauletnazarov won bronze medals in this program. And in the team program, together with these guys, Zukhriddin Qodirov, who joined the trio, was awarded the gold medal.

Other countries also host competitions in the next stage of the Youth Fencing World Cup. The fencers of the Uzbekistan national team reached the quarterfinals in singles in Israel. In Bahrain, domestic athletes who competed in swords showed the same result – 1/4 finals. In addition, in the team program, the girls won silver medals, and the guys finished in the top four.
