The United Arab Emirates hosted Asian Boxing Championships.

The final men’s championships took place on May 31.

Uzbekistan athletes fought for the title of continental champions in seven of ten weight categories. Six boxers became gold medalists. The central match was held between Bahodir Jalolov and Kamshibek Konkabayev. The championship ended with the complete superiority of Uzbekistan’s athlete.

Uzbekistan athletes took first place in the team events and won six gold, one silver and three bronze medals.
