The CIS Games in Russia’s Kazan were successful for Uzbekistan National Team.

Uzbekistan’s athletes won 14 gold, 14 silver and 8 bronze medals and became second in the team events.

Young athletes became medalists in boxing and belt wrestling. They won seven gold medals in both sports.

In belt wrestling, Uzbekistan’s athletes took 1st place in the team event with 7 gold, 3 silver and a bronze medal.

Athletes from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Azerbaijan also won medals in belt wrestling.
