Uzbekistan taekwondo team is taking part in the Asian Championships in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

On the first day of the championships, three Uzbekistan athletes won medals.

Valeria Khegay (37 kg) beat all her rivals and got a gold medal.

Akhadjon Mukhtorov (65 kg) won silver, and Mubina Bobosaidova won bronze in the 44 kg weight category.
