Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, hosted the Third Asian Savate French Boxing Championship. Uzbekistan National Team took third place in the team event and won 3 gold and 3 silver medals.

A worthy contribution to the victory of our compatriots was made by talented athletes Avazbek Sobirov, Khojiakbar Bektanov and Jakhongir Rashidov.

According to the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Uzbekistan, at a meeting of the Asian Savate (French Boxing) Confederation, Secretary General of the Association of French Boxing Savate of Uzbekistan Shukhrat Khodjayev was elected Secretary General of this organization.
