At the Parataekwondo Grand Prix in Paris, Uzbekistan athletes took 3rd place among 37 countries.

In the 80 kg weight category, Uzbekistan’s Asad Toshtemirov defeated all his rivals and won the gold medal. Zukhridin Tairov, competing in the 63 kg weight category, won a bronze medal.

Guljanoy Naimova, who defended the honor of Uzbekistan in the women’s event in the +65 kg weight category, brought a silver medal to the team.

Uzbekistan team with three medals took 3rd place after Brazil and Türkiye, thereby obtaining the necessary rating points for the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.
