On August 3, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bobur Usmanov met with the Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Mnatsakan Safaryan, who arrived in Uzbekistan to attend the First Meeting of Uzbekistan – Armenia Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation.

According to Uzbekistan MFA, the parties focused on developing practical interaction in areas of mutual interest.

The parties exchanged views on developing and implementing joint projects in the trade-economic sphere and further enhancing the legal framework of bilateral cooperation.
