The Authorized Person of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Human Rights (Ombudsman) Feruza Eshmatova met with the Chief Ombudsman of Türkiye Şeref Malkoç and the Head of Türkiye – Uzbekistan Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Osman Mesten.

Şeref Malkoç highly appreciated the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan. He noted that relations between Türkiye and Uzbekistan are strengthening every year.

During the dialogue, special attention was paid to strengthening cooperation between the ombudsmen of Uzbekistan and Türkiye in considering appeals and exchanging experience in ensuring human rights.

The parties exchanged views on continuing cooperation.
