A meeting of members of the interparliamentary group on cooperation between the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Parliament of the United Arab Emirates took place in the Senate in an online format.

Issues of developing dialogue between the parliaments of the two countries, as well as expanding cooperation in the economy, investment, education, tourism, and other areas, were discussed at the event.

It was noted that relations between Uzbekistan and the UAE are consistently developing due to the political will of the heads of state. This creates a solid foundation for implementing joint initiatives and deepening partnership in new directions.

Special attention was paid to the implementation of parliamentary control over the implementation of agreements concluded at the highest level.

An agreement was reached to continue active cooperation within the framework of the interparliamentary group.
