The Agency for the Development of the Pharmaceutical Industry of Uzbekistan and Korea National Biotech Research & Innovation Technology (K-NIBRT) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation and Exchange of Experience.

The document aims to expand scientific-technical cooperation between the two countries, support innovative projects in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, and develop a system for training qualified specialists.

The memorandum provides for cooperation in areas including the exchange of scientific research in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, the organization of educational programs and practical training for specialists from the two countries, the implementation of joint research projects, technology transfer, and the introduction of innovative developments. It is also planned to develop laboratory infrastructure and introduce best practices.
