Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan informed about the international non-governmental organization he heads, which seeks to develop cooperation mainly with national parliaments to promote tolerance and strengthen peace.
It was noted that the rich cultural and historical heritage and centuries-old traditions of tolerance, as well as the changes taking place in the country in all areas, are essential factors in strengthening the cooperation of the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace with Uzbekistan.
“We are also well aware of the leading role of Uzbekistan in all processes in Central Asia”, says Ahmed bin Mohamed Al Jarwan. “It is the new foreign policy of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev that made it possible to overcome the crisis of trust. Common approaches for the region are being built around the ideas and initiatives of the Leader of Uzbekistan, which is very consonant with the goals of our organization”.
Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to enhance collaboration between Uzbekistan and the Global Council for Tolerance and Peace.
