Uzbekistan and Tajikistan continue preparation for demarcation of interstate border line

On January 21-27, Dushanbe hosted a regular meeting of delegations of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Tajikistan to agree on organizational-legal issues of Uzbekistan – Tajikistan State border demarcation. This has been reported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan.
Relevant normative-technical project documents were prepared during the negotiations, on the basis of which the parties will begin the negotiation process for determining the state border line for conducting demarcation activities.
The meeting was held in traditional atmosphere of friendship and mutual understanding.
Following the meeting, a Protocol was signed.
