The Uzbekistan – Korea roundtable was held in the Republic of Korea, with the participation of Uzbekistan’s government delegation led by Deputy Prime Minister Jamshid Khojayev.

Issues related to expanding economic ties, accelerating the implementation of investment projects, and developing joint initiatives in high technology and industry were discussed at the meeting.

Following the event, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Uzeltechsanoat Association and Robotis, a leading South Korean robotics company.

The document outlines the creation of production facilities and a technological base in Uzbekistan for humanoid-robot production, as well as the establishment of a system to train qualified personnel needed to develop the field.
