Representatives of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies visited Korea and signed contracts to develop education and science.

An agreement was reached with Kyungdong University on further expanding the current joint program “2+2” in Korean studies, launching a joint program “1+3” in Korean economics and tourism and the Korean language starting from the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, G. Rikhsiyeva, was awarded the title of honorary professor at Kyungdong University.

At the meeting with the Academy of Korean Studies officials, talks were held on opening a Scientific and Educational Center for Korean Studies at the university.
