Tashkent hosted meetings of the 7th Intergovernmental Commission and the 6th Council of Entrepreneurs, which were co-chaired by Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan Jamshid Khojayev and Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Khalid al-Falih.

The meetings were attended by more than 70 representatives of government agencies and business circles of the two countries, including such companies as ACWA Power, Al Muhaidib Group, Vision Invest, Al Arkkan, Data Volt, Riyadh Cables, Saudi Tabreed, AlBawani Holding, and Miahona.
Following the negotiations, 10 bilateral documents were signed in the fields of energy and renewable energy sources, tourism, transport and logistics, information technology, infrastructure construction, housing and communal services, and water management.

It should be noted that last year the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $142.4 million, and in January-August 2025, it reached $111.5 million. There are 27 enterprises with the participation of Saudi capital in Uzbekistan, 56 investment projects with a total value of $27.2 billion are being implemented, of which $900 million has already been disbursed this year.
