On October 28-31, Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Festival was held in Uzbekistan with participation of representatives of business circles, higher education institution, and the mass media.

On October 28-31, Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Festival was held in Uzbekistan with participation of representatives of business circles, higher education institution, and the mass media.

Within the framework of the festival, organized by Uzbekistan Youth Union and Russia Youth Union under the motto “Cooperation, Initiatives and Innovations”, a number of events, interesting meetings in Tashkent, Samarkand and Bukhara, excursions to historical places, youth business forum, practical conference on tourism, congress of young journalists and bloggers were held.

At the session, organized at the Youth Press Club under the Central Council of Uzbekistan Youth Union, on the final day of the festival, the results of these events were summed up.

Within the framework of the festival, a practical conference was organized in Samarkand on “The role of youth in increasing the tourist flow between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation”.

The Russian participants, who noted the high level and efficiency of holding this event, spoke about the reforms carried out in the sphere of tourism in the country, in particular, simplification of visa regime, development of hotel business, pilgrimage and gastronomic tourism.

Presentation of the reporting film on “Uzbekistan – Russia Youth Festival. Cooperation, Initiatives and Innovations” was held at the session. After the presentation, the festival participants became familiar with exhibits of the Museum of Uzbekistan Youth Union.

The festival ended with a cultural program at the Palace of Youth Creativity in Tashkent with participation of young performers of the two countries.
