An online meeting was held between Jamshid Kuchkarov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Finance of Uzbekistan, and Saat Shukri Embong, Acting President and CEO of MIMOS Berhad, one of Malaysia’s leading technology research institutes.

During the discussions, both sides addressed prospects for bilateral cooperation and the implementation of joint projects in information technologies, innovative solutions, and digital development.

Representatives of MIMOS Berhad praised Uzbekistan’s efforts in digitalization and expressed their readiness to share experiences in implementing advanced technologies.

The parties exchanged views on key aspects of digital economy development in Uzbekistan, supporting research activities and enhancing the IT ecosystem. The parties agreed to strengthen their cooperation and undertake joint initiatives.
