With the support of the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Kuwait, a business delegation of the Energy Solutions of Kuwait visited Bukhara region, Uzbekistan.

The Hokim of Bukhara region, Botir Zaripov, received the delegation. The head of Energy Solutions, Iyad Salih, also attended the meeting via videoconference.

During the negotiations, the Kuwaiti side was informed about the investment potential of Bukhara region, in particular, in such promising industries as tourism, the oil and gas sector, and agriculture. Opportunities for cooperation in medicine and pharmaceuticals were also discussed.

In turn, Kuwaiti representatives proposed organizing an educational center for training medical personnel in Uzbekistan and considering options for a partnership in the mining industry.

Following the meeting, specific areas of interaction were identified, and a preliminary agreement was reached to attract foreign investment in these projects.
