Chairman of the Senate Committee of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on Science, Education and Healthcare Bahrom Abdullayev met with a delegation led by Lee Soo Jin, Deputy Chairman of the Committee on Health and Social Welfare of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.

During the conversation, the parties discussed the current state and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in healthcare, education, science, and social protection of the population.

Special attention was paid to the exchange of experience in the development of the healthcare system, the training of medical personnel, the introduction of innovative technologies into medical practice, as well as the implementation of joint educational and scientific projects.

Following the meeting, an agreement was reached to continue an active dialogue and assist in the implementation of joint programs aimed at improving the standard of living.
