Uzbekistan and Germany: Exchange of views in the public administration system

Tashkent hosted a roundtable discussion on “Projects of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Uzbekistan in 2023 and 2024”.

The event, organized by the Representative Office of this Foundation in Uzbekistan, was attended by representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Agency of Information and Mass Communications under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and media workers.

The head of the Representative Office of the Hanns Seidel Foundation in Uzbekistan, Javkhar Dustov opened the event. He informed about the Foundation’s activities, goals, and objectives.

At the event, the Press Secretary of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Marufjon Jumayev, spoke about the cooperation between the Foundation and the Academy.

At the roundtable discussion, representatives of the Foundation summed up the results of work for 2023. Attention was paid to all the events, business lunches, and business meetings.

In addition, during the conversation, issues discussed at the roundtable discussion “Local governance: Current trends and priority development areas”, held at the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on September 28, 2023, were discussed.

Journalists were given information about the Foundation’s plans for 2024.

All program costs related to Germany (air tickets for 20 students, internship, involvement of experts from the Bavarian School of Public Policy) will be fully covered by the Hanns Seidel Foundation.

At the event, journalists received answers to all their questions.
