Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Minister of Economy and Finance Jamshid Kuchkarov met with experts of the International Advisory Council, including Alfred Gusenbauer, Aleksander Kwaśniewski, and Štefan Füle.

The guests highly appreciated the reforms carried out in Uzbekistan’s socio-economic sphere and its results.

Views were exchanged on the improvement of tax management, the development of the pension system, increasing the human capital and the effective use of the demographic dividend. The importance of applying the best European practices in the sustainable development of territories was noted.

The parties focused on the development of a green economy, accelerating environmental transformation, and introducing modern energy-efficient technologies. The possibilities of developing economic potential in labor migration were considered.

Following the meeting, the participants agreed to further deepen bilateral cooperation.
