Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov met with the leadership of Elsewedy Electric (Egypt).

The parties discussed the prospects for implementing joint projects and introducing innovative developments of the company into the country’s energy industry.

According to the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Trade (MIIT), during the conversation, the company’s leadership highly appreciated the large-scale reforms carried out in Uzbekistan in recent years, thanks to which the investment climate is improving, investor confidence in Uzbekistan is growing, and the volume of attracted foreign direct investment is increasing.

At the meeting, the company presented innovative energy projects implemented in 19 countries around the world, including, the construction of large energy facilities, the installation of high-voltage transmission lines, the creation of green energy facilities, and the development of smart cities.

Following the meeting, the parties expressed mutual readiness to continue interaction and developed a format for further interaction within the framework of the development and implementation of investment projects in Uzbekistan.
