A video dialogue of inter-parliamentary friendship groups was organized to strengthen collaboration between the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Senate of the Arab Republic of Egypt.

The parties discussed further developing relations between the two countries in trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and inter-parliamentary spheres and enhancing the scale of cooperation.

The Egyptian side expressed its readiness to participate as international observers in an important political event: the parliamentary elections in Uzbekistan this year.

An agreement was reached on the establishment of systematic parliamentary control to ensure the implementation of the agreements reached at the highest level between the leaders of the two countries.

The parties agreed to coordinate the place, date, and agenda of the next meeting of the inter-parliamentary friendship group through diplomatic channels.
