It was organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan (MIIT) together with the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) of the People’s Republic of China, and is aimed at deepening institutional cooperation and studying China’s experience in economic reforms and industrial development.
A regular meeting of the working group was held within the framework of the mechanism for interaction between the MIIT and the NDRC. During the meeting, special attention was paid to the development of trade, transport, and logistics ties, accelerating the implementation of major infrastructure projects, including the construction of the Uzbekistan – Kyrgyzstan – China railway.
Prospects for cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence and joint work on the development of artificial satellite technologies, in particular, the initiative to create a regional center of the Beidou system in Central Asia, were discussed within the framework of the mutual dialogue.
