Ambassador of Uzbekistan Gayrat Fazilov met with the leadership of the administration of the Belgian city of Namur.

The parties discussed enhancing practical ties between cities and regions of Uzbekistan and Belgium.

The modern development of Uzbekistan, transformations in the country, trade and investment opportunities, and the potential for cooperation were also discussed at the meeting.

The issues of establishing academic exchanges between the universities of Uzbekistan and leading vocational education institutions of Namur, in particular, the School of Agronomy and Natural Sciences “Ciney” (L'Ecole d'Agronomie et des Sciences de Ciney) in agricultural sciences, ICT and artificial intelligence were considered.
